It Isn't Easy Being Green (or Gray, or even Brown)...

Monitoring Toads, Frogs & Salamanders in Connecticut

Yale University and the library collaborate on this popular series of science programs in order to bring cutting edge, current research and information to the community.  And yes, hot cocoa will be served!!

The presenter of this special program is Gregory Watkins-Colwell,  Senior Museum Assistant for Vertebrate Zoology at Yale's Peabody Museum.  In his research about the ecology and evolutionary biology of lizards, Watkins-Colwell has pursued field work in New Caledonia and China as well as in several states. He helps to coordinate the Connecticut Amphibian Monitoring Project, a   15-year study of species diversity and distributions of our state's amphibians.  He will bring live critters to illustrate this talk, and this program is recommended for all ages.

There is no charge, and free parking is available.
